DESCRIPTION:The Boys & Girls Clubs of East Alabama is proud to host NBA player Walker Kessler on Monday\, August 4 at the Auburn Clubhouse.\n\n\nThe Boys & Girls Clubs of East Alabama is thrilled to welcome NBA player and Auburn alum Walker Kessler to our Auburn Clubhouse on Monday\, August 4 from 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM for a special back-to-school celebration! \nIn the spirit of giving back\, Walker is teaming up with the Club to provide 125 local youth with brand-new backpacks\, lunch boxes\, and essential school supplies—each backpack personally signed by Walker Kessler himself. \nThis event is free and open to the public\, but tickets are required for all participants. \nParticipants will choose a 20-minute time slot when registering and must arrive during their selected time to take part in the event. Space is limited and tickets will be distributed on a first-come\, first-served basis. \nDuring their scheduled slot\, youth (5-18 years) will have the opportunity to meet Walker Kessler\, receive their school supplies\, and celebrate the start of a new school year. \nEvent Details: \nParticipants will choose a 20-minute time slot when registering and must arrive during their selected time to take part in the event.  \nDuring their scheduled slot\, children will have the opportunity to meet Walker Kessler\, receive their school supplies\, and celebrate the start of a new school year. \nOpen to youth ages 5–18 only. \nEach child must have their own ticket to attend. \nA maximum of two caregivers per child will be permitted. \nAttendees must arrive during their assigned time slot—late arrivals may not be accommodated. \nTickets are non-transferable.

DESCRIPTION:Aquatic Aerobic after Breast Cancer.  Join us at Lakeshore Foundation for a  4 -week  Aquatic Aerobic series: Water\, Wellness\, and You!\n\n\nWaveStrong! Water\, Wellness\, & You! Aquatic Aerobics after Breast Cancer.\nJoin us for aquatic range of motion where we will spend 45 minutes of movement in a therapy pool (93-95 degrees). This exercise will improve strength\, flexibility and balance while moving every joint of the body. \nThis low-to-moderate intensity aerobic exercise focuses on all muscle groups and joints of the body. This is especially helpful after breast cancer if you are experiencing range of motion issues or fatigue but want to get back into exercise. You will need a swimsuit\, towel and water bottle. If you have any open wounds\, bowel or bladder incontinence issues\, please contact Windy Lujano at 205-313-7471 before signing up for the class. \nWaveStrong Aquatic Aerobics will meet in-person weekly on Thursdays in August from 9:30am – 10:15am at Lakeshore Foundation\, August 7th through August 28th (a 4 -week series).
