Homeless outreach organizations prepare for the upcoming winter weather

In May, we proudly celebrate Community Action Month—and this year is especially meaningful as we commemorate 60 years of Community Action’s unwavering commitment to ending poverty and uplifting lives across America.

We're excited to share that nine local organizations serving Huntsville’s most vulnerable populations will receive a $300,000 funding boost through Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, administered by the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA).
