MISSION STATEMENT
The Alabama Council on Human Relations, Inc. (ACHR) is a private non-profit organization that is funded exclusively for educational and eleemosynary (charitable) purposes on behalf of the low-income population. The goal of ACHR is to promote and implement programs—both independently and in concert with community partners—that address the needs of those with low income and improve economic conditions, education, and racial relationships for all people.
