We’re excited to share that nine local organizations serving Huntsville’s most vulnerable populations will receive a $300,000 funding boost through Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, administered by the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA).
Among the recipients is our very own Community Action Partnership of Huntsville/Madison and Limestone Counties, Inc., awarded $108,000 to continue their life-changing work!
Other ESG recipients include:
AshaKiran, Inc. – $15,000
Crisis Services of North Alabama – $38,000
First Stop, Inc. – $54,000
Family Services Center – $35,000
New Futures, Inc. – $20,000
North Alabama Coalition for the Homeless – $5,000
Hands Across Decatur – $5,000
These funds will help provide shelter, case management, and vital resources to those experiencing homelessness in our communities.
“The City of Huntsville is committed to supporting our most vulnerable residents by partnering with organizations that provide essential services.”
