WaveStrong : Water, Wellness, & You!

WaveStrong! Water, Wellness, & You! Aquatic Aerobics after Breast Cancer.
Join us for aquatic range of motion where we will spend 45 minutes of movement in a therapy pool (93-95 degrees). This exercise will improve strength, flexibility and balance while moving every joint of the body.
This low-to-moderate intensity aerobic exercise focuses on all muscle groups and joints of the body. This is especially helpful after breast cancer if you are experiencing range of motion issues or fatigue but want to get back into exercise. You will need a swimsuit, towel and water bottle. If you have any open wounds, bowel or bladder incontinence issues, please contact Windy Lujano at 205-313-7471 before signing up for the class.
WaveStrong Aquatic Aerobics will meet in-person weekly on Thursdays in August from 9:30am – 10:15am at Lakeshore Foundation, August 7th through August 28th (a 4 -week series). Aquatic Aerobics after Breast Cancer will be a fun experince for all!
