Why The Mindful Changemaker Introductory Course?

As changemakers tackle local and global injustices during Covid-19, rising conflict and climate-intensified extreme weather, an increase in stress and burnout are taking a huge toll.

The Mindful Changemaker Introductory Course is a space for changemakers to come together and explore a toolkit of mindful practices that cultivate connection, self-compassion and inner-stability.

Who is this course for?

This course is for changemakers curious about fostering mindfulness and self-compassion in their lives and activism. It’s for people who want to explore the foundations of mindfulness or enrich their current practice by going on the journey with other changemakers. No prior meditation experience is required.

A changemaker is someone taking action to a create a fairer, kinder or more sustainable world. Whether you donate, share causes online, buy ethically, sign petitions, volunteer, show solidarity, work for an organisation doing good or create change another way – this course is for you.

Workshops

The Mindful Changemaker Introductory Course includes four 90 minute workshops on Zoom. In each workshop, participants will have a chance to interact, practice guided meditation, share experiences and insights and ask questions. The workshops are designed to be experiential and interactive, as well as trauma-sensitive, inclusive and friendly.
